On the 19th of October the usual rendezvous with Bristol-Myers Squibb's multi site congress took place and it has been made clear thanks to the commercial partner Dogma srl of Savona.

The event took place in nine hotels spread over the chief towns of the regions and were connected together thanks to easymeeting™ live. The main issue that was discussed concerned Leukemia Ph+ during TKI era. The whole conference was addressed to doctors and partipants of the medical field and was regarded as an aspect of the ministerial program of accreditation ECM. In order to convey this multi-site event, the use of easymeeting™ and the HDSL line were sufficient and it guaranteed the best audio and video quality (the HDSL connection was of course provided by the hotels).

Many experts of international and national fame, who were situated in the various locations, participated actively in this conference and expressed their opinions. During this event many of the modern concepts about Leukemias Ph physiopathology's were analyzed at a molecular and cellular level. The most recent clinical research and new therapeutic options were discussed as well, keeping in consideration what emerged from the recent annual international congress (EHA).
As usual there was plenty of time dedicated for the sharing of local experiences. In fact reports and discussions were alternated between moments of real contacts sharing among eachother and the interaction between the various sites which attributed to moments in which various realities came together to give a summmary of the overall picture.

It was a very intense day that reached it's climax at the end of the event. In fact, in this moment, all the participants that were listening to the experts' opinions on the subject were able to vote for their favorites thesis, that best expressed their final ideas in real time.

The hotels who were involved in this event were: Torino's Hotel Le Meridien, Bari's Sheraton Hotel Nicolaus, Bologna's Hotel Tower Il Boscolo, Sheraton Hotel in Catania, The Jolly Hotel NH in Firenze, Milanofiori's Jolly Hotel, Napoli's Holiday Inn, Padova's Hotel Sheraton and last but not least Rome's Sheraton Golf Hotel 2.
