This year we also managed the annual live convention, Year and Meeting in which the Gruppo Dirigenti Fiat: reported to be, 'an event where the top management of the famous automotive group could meet and greet all the Fiat executives from all around the world.'

In addition to the Italian executives, who were physically present in the prestigious auditorium of the Lingotto in Turin, the managers of the foreign offices were able to attend the event through the video communication live streaming made possible through special web pages with authentication. The event was attended by managers connected from more than 225 sites located all over the world including Spain, France, Portugal, Serbia, and many states in both North and Latin America.

Like previous events, there were a wide-range of topics discussed dealing with all the main issues: The division of Fiat and Fiat Industrial, the alliance with Chrysler, the story of the group as well as the problems related to the competition, and lastly there was of course, the sharing of holiday wishes for the upcoming Christmas season.

Mr. Nevio Di Giusto, President of the Gruppo Dirigenti Fiat, began the event and was followed by Mr. Massimo Gramellini - Deputy Director of the newspaper La Stampa - who gave an original reinterpretation of the connection between the story of Fiat and that of Italy's. Later on, after a minute of silence as tribute for the death of Mr. Tommaso Padoa-Schioppa, Mr. Sergio Marchionne - CEO of Fiat Group - spoke about the economic and developmental issues of the company and gave the floor to Mr. John Elkann, the new president of the Fiat Group.
