The online seminar "The pancreatitis of the dog", organized last September 30th by IDEXX Laboratories, was a great success .

The event, managed through the videocommunication software easymeeting™, was broadcasted live on internet allowing the participation of over 285 vets from 24 countries, including China, USA, Canada, France, Lebanon and Taiwan.

Prof. Ugo Lotti lead the video-interactive seminar from his office in Milan, and supported his speech with synchronized Powerpoint slides. Dr. Centaro read users' questions from the textual chat board built into the system, while all participants were able to watch the entire event live through a streaming video from their own PCs.

The second part of this course will be on October 28th. In the same way IDEXX will organize another online seminar, "Cytology of the bone marrow", and the first class will be on Monday, October 18th.
