Starting from today the first beta version of the easymeeting™ client for Mac is available, compatible with Mac OS 10.5 Leopard, which can be downloaded here.
The released version allows the complete management of the audio and video components along with the instant messaging agent easymeetingOnCall to search, add and call your contacts with a simple click.
The Chat is fully integrated and the first form of applications sharing has also been implemented, to send and receive portions of the screen to and from the other participants, regardless of their operating system. The integrated software echo canceller has been improved precisely for conferences with multiple users on Full-Duplex channels who haven’t got headphones.
The Mac version fully supports the Supervisor functions related to enabling attendees on Full-Duplex channels from the Users window in the normal mode (where users are represented by images in low refresh or in the list), but it’s still under development in the OnetoWorld mode. As in the Windows version, all the elements on the screen can be repositioned in either manual or automatic mode according to the opened windows and to the functionalities that are currently used.
In this first release the following features are not supported: files management, proxy support, management of delegations and meeting recordings. You can compare in detail the Mac version with the current Windows version here.
