The Videocontactcenter application is available throughout a common web browser and it does not require the equipment of specific hardware because it uses the audio and video input that is normally provided on any PC.
The use of a webcam is optional for the user, while it is obviously necessary to provide an audio input (integrated microphone or external USB) to convey the voice traffic.
Whereas the operator is always with the webcam in order to establish a more natural and effective interpersonal communication.
Operationally, the user clicks on videocontactcenter link and in the case of the first access, he must consent to the automatic installation of the ActiveX that will allow him to enjoy the service.
Then he inserts a nickname and identification and he is placed in contact with the remote video contact center, so that it meets
the first operator available.
Once the user has the video communication, the operator can send documents from the repository system rather than suggest links and navigation paths that meet the user needs.
After the conversation, any unresolved questions may be included in the database system with the caller's address, so that the conversation can be continued later with other systems.
